The School Sports Co-ordinator partnership is a family of schools that come together to enhance sports opportunities for all. The Southern Area partnership is made up of Angmering Sports College, twelve secondary schools and seventy five primary schools clustered around the secondaries and the college.
The partnership receives a grant each year which pays for:
A full time Partnership Development Manager
The release of one teacher from each secondary school who takes on the role of School Sports Co-ordinator (SSCO)
The release of one teacher from each primary school for twelve days a year to allow them to become Primary Link Teachers (PLTs)
Specialist Link Teachers (SLTs) who fill the gaps created by teacher release
