Girls Sports - Netball
Netball DevelolpmentsWorthing and District is well known within Sussex for having as strong committment to netball both within school and club structures. During the last two years this has been further strengthened by the introduction of competitive leagues for years 7 to 11 as well as development squads for U14 and U16 levels.
Rules
1.AENA rules apply throughout the league
2.Matches will be 12 mins each way for years 7,8 and 10 and 15 mins each way for years 9 and 11
3.Schools are responsible for umpiring their own matches
4.Please start matches as close to 3.45pm as possible
5.If your team cannot honour a fixture please inform opposition directly
6.Failing to honour a match will result in 5 points and 15 goals being awarded to the opposition
7.Schools will be informed by 2.00pm if matches are postponed due to inclement weather
8.Please put results cards in the appropriate box or phone through to Alison Groves (778328)
9.Points will be awarded as follows: 5 win, 3 score draw, 2 if score is half opponents and 1 for a loss
10.After the preliminary rounds winners and runners up in each pool will go to FINALS AT FIELD FLACE WORTHING and DURRINGTON HIGH SCHOOL.
Year 7 is a round robin tournament and will remain at Field Place
