REVERSE INTEGRATION BOCCIA FESTIVALHead teachers at neighbouring special and mainstream primary schools were very supportive of a project to use sport to integrate students from each school. Students from KS1 and KS2 were initially taught Boccia - and variations of before competing weeks later in a festival.
KS2 teams consisted of players from both schools. It is hoped that similar events will take place in future.
Many thanks to Cath Farr for sorting out teams and to Amy Jupp (Lewes HSLA) for assisting throughout the morning.

WHEELCHAIR FOOTBALLOver 40 students had a super time at the second wheelchair football event this term. Students from Oak Grove, West Park and Herons Dale participated from the partnership. The event is increasingly popular amongst youngsters across the county attracting players from as far a field as Chailey.
Organiser Nikki Richardson from Seagulls Specials is thinking of ways of splitting the event to cater for the differing ages and abilities. Many thanks go to the Angmering HSLA students who really did the SAP proud throughout the festival and of course to Nikki for coordinating this successful event.
